April 10, (THEWILL) – Mavin record label boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, has advised his colleagues in the music industry to learn from David Adeleke, also known as Davido, when it comes to marketing their projects.
The singer has been granting interviews, both in Nigeria and Internationally, where he talks about his new album, ‘Timeless’.
He first started on social media where he announced his return to the music scene after the tragic death of his son, Ifeanyi.
He gave his fans a sneak peek of what to expect from his latest release and does not hesitate to talk about the album at every given opportunity.
Don Jazzy took to his Twitter page on Monday, to state that marketing of project won’t reduce the status of an artiste.
“Dear artiste, hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh, I’m OBO so everybody will cop my shit.
“Marketing your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag,” he wrote.
