April 22, (THEWILL) – Liverpool earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Nottingham Forest in a thrilling English Premier League encounter on Saturday, at Anfield.
The match was a back-and-forth affair, with Jurgen Klopp’s team being pegged back twice by the visitors. The hero of the day was Mohamed Salah, who scored his 183rd goal for Liverpool, drawing level with Robbie Fowler’s string of successive goal-scoring at home, and sealing the three points for his team.

Taiwo Awoniyi played 87 minutes but contributed little to Forest’s attack.
Liverpool will face West Ham next, looking to build on their momentum, while Nottingham Forest will try to turn their fortunes around against Brighton and Hove Albion. The Reds’ win ensured that Forest remain inside the relegation zone in 19th place with the only side worse than them being rock-bottom Southampton.
