September 03, (THEWILL) – The Lagos state government has advised motorists to ply alternate routes ahead of the Super Eagles’ Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers against the Liberians at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
The game is billed for Friday at 5pm (WAT).
The traffic advisory was considered significant with the state’s Ministry of Transportation pre-informing motorists of a temporary closure of two roads:
• Service lane from barracks by the tip of stadium bridge
• Alaka service lane to connect the stadium
The advisory maintains that regular movement on roads linking Kilo, Masha through Shitta Bridge to the stadium will be affected as that axis will be closed for the Friday match.
The advisory noted that “motorists should seek alternate routes for their movement within Surulere during this period till the match will be concluded.”
