“I’m not thinking of making history of any such. All I’m concerned about is leading Nigeria to the World cup.” he said at a media parley on Wednesday.

The much traveled coach, who also qualified Togo for the 2006 World Cup, has been putting his wards through their paces at their Abuja camp as they prepare for Sunday’s clash and says all hands must be on deck to make sure Nigeria lands in Brazil.

“We are here working hard to get Nigeria to the best football festival in the world, we need to join our hands together because it is a collective work.

“Keshi alone cannot do it, the players alone cannot do it. We need everyone to be on board.

“We ask Nigerians to stay positive , support the team and pray for the best.” Keshi stated.

Nigeria will tackle Ethiopia on Sunday, 13th October in a first leg final Fifa 2014 World Cup Africa zone qualifiers in Addis Ababa.

The last time the two teams met was at the group stage of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations that was held in South Africa, where a Victor Moses brace gave Nigeria a 2-0 victory.
