May 12, (THEWILL)- Penultimate week, Kehinde Onabanjo-Iyiola, celebrity event planner who is the official planner and decorator for many Nigerian top shots through her Finesse Events, as well as the face behind Whitestone Event Centre, a pristine event centre for luxury social and corporate events, rolled out the carpets to celebrate her 40th birthday. The theme of the party was black tie and guests turned out looking resplendent in mostly black.
Onabanjo-Iyiola made sure to dazzle her guests with different exotic displays at the party. First she changed her outfit three times during the party. In her first entrance, she was accompanied by four exotic dancers all dressed in skimpy outfits. Then there was her cake, which was mind blowing. It was a huge three-tier cake in black.
Guests were serenaded by Abolaji David Banjoko, aka Beejay Sax, gospel singer, Adeyinka Alaseyori, SB Love Band, Laolu Gbenjo and Ebenezer Obey. There was an opening prayer by Goodman Akinlabi, the General Overseer of Elevation Church, to declare the party started. Some of those who graced the party were Chief Razaq Okoya and his wife, Shade, Rev Esther Ajayi, Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, Oba Saheed Elegushi and his Olori, Sekinat, Banke Meshida, Bashir Olawale Fakorede and wife, Tayo, Olugbon of Orile Ogbon, Oba Francis Alao, Tai Elemosho Okesanjo, Prince Fuad Oloto, Sir Olu Okeowo, Eniola Badmus etc.
That Onabanjo-Iyiola , who is happily married with two children and has stamped her foot in the event planning and management industry, is not in doubt. Over the past one decade, she dominated the events management and decoration sector in Nigeria. Her arrival in the event management space changed the headlines and her reputation as a formidable manager of events is legendary.
