July 09, (THEWILL) – Fiorentina have signed striker, Moise Kean, from Juventus in a permanent transfer. The Serie A clubs announced the deal on Tuesday. Juventus will receive €13 million plus potential bonuses of up to €5 million. The length of Kean’s contract with Fiorentina was not disclosed.
The 24-year-old has represented Italy 15 times, scoring four goals for the national team. He previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Everton in addition to Juventus.
The forward endured a difficult 2023/2024 season at Juventus. He failed to score or assist in 20 appearances across all competitions while battling a shin injury.
Fiorentina finished eighth in Serie A last season. They also reached the UEFA Conference League final for the second consecutive year, ultimately finishing as runners-up.
The signing of Kean bolsters Fiorentina’s attacking options as they aim to improve upon last season’s league position and make another deep run in European competition.
