April 05, (THEWILL) – Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband, Kanye West, will not be headlining the Coachella music festival as earlier planned.
According to TMZ, sources close to the rapper stated that he decided to pull the plug in his performance at the event, which will hold from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 24.
While his reasons are unclear, the rapper has threatened to pull out of the festival in February, if fellow headliner, Billie Eilish did not apologise to his colleague, Travis Scott.
While performing at a concert, Eilish had paused her show to help a fan who needed an inhaler. She also said “I wait for people to be okay before I keep going.”
West perceived it an insult to Scott, who was currently embroiled in legal battle after 10 people’s death, and several got injured during his Astroworld Fest concert in November.
The rapper seems to be moving out of public eye to get help amidst his divorce with Kim Kardashian.
New York post revealed that for the sake of his kids, Kanye has told Kim that he is not making any public appearance or inflammatory social media statement and he would go ahead somewhere to get better.
