Jigawa State First Lady Honoured With Royal Reception In Saudi Arabia

June 28, (THEWILL) – In a remarkable display of international diplomacy and cultural exchange, the First Lady of Jigawa State, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi, was warmly received by His Majesty, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
Hajiya Hasiya Umar Namadi was received alongside several other distinguished guests from 90 countries, during the just concluded 2024 Hajj.
A statement by the Special Assistant, Media Affairs to the Jigawa State Governor, Zainab Rabo Ringim, said: “The prestigious special invitation to the Jigawa First Lady was a recognition of her outstanding contributions to humanitarian causes and women’s empowerment back home in Jigawa State.”
Rabo said in the statement that “Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi’s services to humanity that attracted international attention
were inspired by her husband’s numerous action programmes that had elevated the life of ordinary folks in Jigawa State. “
The statement explained that “being a guest of Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, is a significant honor and privilege. It indicates that the individual has been invited to visit the King or has been received by him with special courtesy and respect.
“This royal reception marks a significant milestone in the Jigawa First Lady’s humanitarian endeavours, solidifying her position, like Dan Modi, as a champion of social causes and a symbol of Nigerian-Saudi friendship.”
Hajiya Hadiza Hadiza Umar Namadi, who spoke on the Royal gesture, shortly after the Royal reception, pledged to sustain her services to humanity throughout her lifetime.
Hadiza Namadi appreciated the gesture of King Salman AbdulAzeez  Al Saud, the Custodian of the two Holy mosques, also said: “As leaders, we have to align our actions, teachings and practices with the divine mandate.”
The Hajj 2024 Royal treat highlighted the growing diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, fostering greater cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations.
