Dr. Mrs. Njideka Nwobu, representing ICPC in the FAAN, delivered a detailed presentation. She covered the nature and examples of corruption, discussed the Seven Deadly Sins (SDS) of corruption, explored social factors influencing corrupt behaviour, and proposed actions to eliminate corruption in the workplace.

A significant portion of the session was dedicated to the theme, “Integrity My Watchword”. Speaking, Dr. Nwobu elaborated on the acronym and definition of integrity, its relevance in the workplace, identifying traits and attributes of individuals with true integrity, and stressing its importance in personal and professional life. Practical steps for enhancing integrity in the workplace, as outlined in distributed handbooks, were also discussed.

Attendees were subsequently required to undergo a test meeting ICPC standards, aimed at reinforcing anti-corruption knowledge and principles.

Furthermore, all staff members present were encouraged to anonymously submit complaints and challenges they encountered at the airport via a designated form. These submissions will be forwarded to headquarters for thorough review by management.

The seminar underscored ICPC’s commitment to fostering a corruption-free environment and promoting ethical standards within governmental institutions.
