April 03, (THEWILL) – Colombian singer and songwriter, Shakira Ripoll, has been served an eviction notice by Gerard Pique’s father, Joan.
According to Daily Mail, the mother of two had to leave Barcelona after the eviction notice.
The singer received a letter telling her and her parents to abandon the house which belongs to both her and Pique before April 30th, after she performed her diss song targeting Pique and his new girlfriend on the Jimmy Fallon late-night show last month.
Months before the eviction notice, the house had been handed over to Inversiones BCN Two & Two SL in September last year, after the lovers ended their relationship and they were figuring how to resolve a magnitude of issues such as their joint properties, who their children will be living with, amongst other issues.
Joan Pique, who is the administrator of Inversiones BCN Two & Two SL had to sign and issue the singer the notice.
She posted an emotional message on her Instagram after setting out to leave Barcelona.
“Thanks to everyone who surfed so many waves alongside me in Barcelona, the city where I learned that friendship lasts longer than love”, she wrote.
However, she made no mention of the eviction order in her farewell message after being pictured leaving the Catalan capital with her two children to start a new life in Florida.
