Pastor Eskor Mfon foundation has marked the 16th year death anniversary of the reverend man of God, Pastor Asuquo Ernest Mfon, more popularly known as Pastor Eskor Mfon.
The clergy died in 2007 as a result of a long battle with cancer.
An Instagram live chat series tagged, ‘The Impact of One Life, Pastor Eskor Mfon legacy’ took place last week. Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, founder and presiding pastor of Trinity House Church, was the moderator of the series while two other guest speakers, Pastor Ben Akabueze and Funmi Bucknor were guest speakers.
Eskor Mfon was the Senior Pastor of the City of David, Provincial Pastor of Lagos Province 4 and Head of Apapa Family in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) until his death 16 years ago. He was responsible for establishing City of David on Victoria Island in 1996, which has risen to be one of the largest and fastest growing parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Pastor Bimpe Mfon, wife of the deceased, set up the foundation in honour of her late husband in April 2009 to sustain the legacies of her husband who died at the age of 54.
