July 16, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government has repatriated 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), said on Tuesday morning.
Director General of the Agency, Mrs Zubaida Umar, who disclosed this in a statement, issued by the Zonal Director, NEMA North Central, Bashir Garga, said the returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday, at about 05:59 am by a combined team of government officials, led by NEMA.
According to the statement, all the returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies who sensitised them to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has urged all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency and integrity.
