March 16, (THEWILL) – Manchester United are reportedly considering a £105 million bid for French international, Randal Kolo Muani, as part of their summer search for a new striker.
The 24-year-old emerged as one of many targets for United manager Erik ten Hag following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure last year. Kolo Muani’s recent decision to change agencies has fuelled speculation of his possible exit from Eintracht, where he has scored 16 goals this season.
Although Ten Hag has expressed a preference for Tottenham’s Harry Kane, United may have to consider alternative options given Spurs’ reluctance to sell. Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Goncalo Ramos of Benfica are also on the club’s radar. Yet, Napoli reluctance to part ways with Osimhen may be a hindrance.
United currently appear to be leading the race for Kolo Muani’s signature and they are reportedly offering a package that would make him their most expensive signing ever. While Eintracht has Kolo Muani contracted until 2027, the club may find it difficult to turn down such a lucrative offer, especially considering that they signed him on a free transfer from Nantes last year.
