BEVERLY HILLS, January 28, (THEWILL) – Reports reaching THEWILL has it that the Department of State Services, DSS, has invited the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, OFM, Apostle Johnson Suleman, to its office in Abuja for interrogations.
A message posted on Saturday on the Twitter handle @APCNEWSTV reads “DSS invites Apostle Suleman to its Abuja office for interrogation by 10am on Monday 30th January 2017”.
A message signed by a certain Barr. A Tareri had been circulating on Whatsapp which also announced that the fiery cleric has been summoned to appear at DSS office by 10 O’Clock in the morning on Monday.
Recall that the secret police had in the wee hours of Wednesday reportedly made an attempt to whisk Suleman away from his hotel room in Ado-Ekiti where he had gone for a two-day crusade. Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state however blocked the move to arrest the cleric.
This happened after a video went viral on the social media wherein the controversial evangelical preacher called for the killing of any Fulani herdsman that strays into Omega Fire church premises, stating that he was earlier informed of a plan by Fulani herdsmen to attack his convoy and the church.
