DJ Cuppy’s Foundation Donates N7m To Lagos SDGs Project 

March 24, (THEWILL) – DJ Cuppy’s Foundation has donated N7 million to Lagos State government for sustainable development goals (SDGs) project.

The organisation was founded by Florence Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola.

The donation was made to the Lagos State office of SDG and investment to support projects on education and gender equality.

Speaking at the presentation of the cheque, Solope Hammond, special adviser to the governor on SDGs and investment said, “the gesture highlights the significance of meaningful engagements to address collective challenges from the strength of shared responsibilities.”

She commended Cuppy’s efforts towards the upliftment of education in the state through science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

She said SDGs programmes create an opportunity for the government to build trust, confidence and explore strong partnership that will enable the development of broad social protection system.

While appreciating DJ Cuppy’s Foundation, Lekan Falolu, senior special assistance to the governor on SDGs, stated that the government will continue to facilitate strategic partnership and collaboration to realise the deliverables of global agenda.

According to DJ Cuppy, the donation was premised on her foundation’s aspiration to address issues surrounding the education and wellbeing of citizens.

Represented by her manager, Ruth Okonye, she said the foundation was happy to identify with good intentions of the Lagos State Government in catering for the vulnerables in the society.
