LAGOS, January 25, (THEWILL) – Mr. Deji Tinubu, the Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Sports and a sibling of Oando CEO, Wale Tinubu, slumped and died late Thursday evening after participating in a soccer game at the ongoing retreat of the Lagos state cabinet in Epe.
THEWILL gathered that he was certified dead at the Epe General hospital where he was transported.
The state government is yet to comment officially on the sad development.
Deji was until his recent appointment, Chairman of the state’s sports commission.
