March 20, (THEWILL) – Embattled Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi has revealed that making videos on social media was her way of coping with her marital crisis.
During a Facebook Live Session she stated ” I decided to address some of the things that are going on. I really don’t want to wash my linen in public because the internet never forgets.
“First I want to apologizes to everyone who saw the perfect depiction of a family and the interracial love I projected online and projected into it. And now, they are disappointed with what is going on. I am sorry you had to see that and now, you had to see everything crashing. I want to apologize to you my beloved fans.
“You might see me looking strong and dancing, trying to keep things together. When you see me doing that, just know that I am trying to keep things together and trying to be strong for my girls.
“Trying to keep things together is how I cope. I cope with dance. I can read the comments of people, but I am not going to say anything bad about my husband because it will be damaging to my family.
“It takes two in a marriage. I am the only one in the United States of America. I have a two year old daughter and a new born baby. My extended family members are not based here. I just want you to know what I am going through right now. I am not a robot. I am just trying to make ends meet. I am trying to be a strong figure my girls can look up to and emulate.
“When I am strong enough, I will tell my story. Till then, please be emphatic with me and kind with your words. If I don’t take care of my girls, no one else will. I am just trying to keep my sanity. I don’t want to say anything I will regret. Please keep me in your prayers and remember that I am only human.”
Recall that the dancer and her husband parted ways a few weeks ago. The husband has since been revealing what he went through while the marriage lasted.
