July 23, (THEWILL) – Controversy has trailed ‘Jaye Lo’, a music video of David Adeleke’s signee, Olamilekan Taiwo, also known as Logos Olori.

Davido had posted the music video on his Twitter page on Friday morning. In the video, some people in ‘jalabiyyah’, a flowing white attire won by Muslims, were praying before they started dancing as they recited some Quranic verses and prayed.

Logos Olori also copied the Muslim style of praying while sitting on the roof of the building.

The video has since generated controversies online, as Davido was accused of disrespecting Islamic religion and practices. They also added that many Muslims will find the video offensive.

Some fans urged the singer to pull down the music video from his social media pages and apologise to Muslims.

Responding to the criticism, Davido seems unbothered about the outrage online. He took to his Twitter page to further promote the video.

In the series of tweets, Davido referred to his recent album, ‘Timeless’, saying he was unavailable and he didn’t want to fight with anyone.

“No choice Logos, Dem go feel am.

“Una know say ‘Feel’ never start abi. In fact, ‘Unavailable’ never start.

“I wan make you show me make we no dey fight,” he tweeted.”
