Vertiv has agreed to acquire UtilityInnovation Group for up to $2.6 billion, expanding its ability to manage power supplies for data centres as electricity demand from artificial intelligence grows.

The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), has warned state governors and lawmakers against distributing motorcycles as palliatives and constituency interventions, saying the vehicles are increasingly being diverted into the hands of terrorists and bandits and subsequently used to facilitate criminal operations.
