August 01, (THEWILL) – American Rapper, Belcalia Marlenis Almánzar, otherwise known as Cardi B, has called it quits and filed for divorce from her husband, Offset.
This is not the first time Cardi has called for a divorce from Offset since they tied the knot in 2017. She previously filed for divorce for the first time in 2020.
The Grammy-winning Rapper also announced that she is pregnant with her third child.
“This is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable,” Cardi B said on her social media while also posting pregnancy photos.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power,” she added.
Cheating rumours have plagued the couple for years, but she insisted that was not the reason for their split.
