SAN FRANCISCO, December 15, (THEWILL) – American actor and comedian Bill Cosby has filed a defamation suit against seven of the women who accused him of sexual assault.
In a statement released by Cosby’s lawyer, Monique Pressley, the women; Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis, and Angela Leslie, were said to have ‘’maliciously and knowingly published multiple false statements and accusations in an effort to cause damage to Mr. Cosby’s reputation and to extract financial gains”
He is suing them for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress stating that he neither drugged nor sexually assaulted the defendants
