Bendel Insurance Duo Lead NPFL Awards Nominations For February

March 03, (THEWILL) – Bendel Insurance’s duo of Monday Odigie and Imade Osarenkhoe, are once again respectively nominated for the Coach and Player of the Month awards in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The League Bloggers Awards, which recognises outstanding performers in the NPFL, announced the nominees for the February awards, and the Bendel Insurance pair are leading the list.

Odigie, who finished as the only unbeaten coach in February after five matches and topped the table in Group A, is nominated alongside Deji Ayeni of Akwa United, Finidi George of Enyimba, and Mohammed Baba Ganaru of Lobi Stars. Meanwhile, Osarenkhoe, the January Player of the Month, finished February as the poster boy of Insurance, while Amas Obasogie also got a second nomination for his heroics in-between-sticks for the team.
The League Bloggers Awards has been recognising and celebrating outstanding performers in the NPFL since 2009, and in 2017, extended its reach to the second tier Nigeria National League (NNL) and Women’s League. Odigie and Ganaru have become regular nominees for playing good football, while the duo of George and Ayeni make the shortlist for the first time this term.
The organisers of the League Bloggers Awards say that the winners of the awards will be announced soon.
