August 21, (THEWILL) – Seyi Awolowo’s management has risen to his defence against his outburst on sex and women.

The actor, who is one of the housemates in the All-Stars edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show, had a sex-related chat with Hazel Onou, also known as Whitemoney and Soma Anyama.

While chatting with them, he revealed that he will sponsor his sons and their friends to have sexual intercourse with pre-arranged girls.

He added that he has opened a special bank account to service the sexual fantasies of his sons and their friends.

Awolowo was hugely criticised for his outburst and some fans called for his eviction.

Reacting to the uproar on social media about their client’s controversial utterance, a statement was released by Slasha Entertainment on Awolowo’s Instagram page where an apology was tendered and a fresh perspective was given to Awolowo’s outburst.

According to the statement, the reality show star’s comment might have been offensive but does not define his overall personality.

Awolowo’s management said the public should consider the complexities of the show as well as the possibility of misinterpretation.

“It is essential to recognise that edited content and isolated segments from the show can sometimes be taken out of context.

“Leading to a distorted representation of individuals and their actions. Seyi has been portrayed in a manner that does not fully reflect his character, values, and intentions.

“While we acknowledge that Seyi might have said certain things that were provoked, triggered, or influenced by circumstances, it is essential to emphasise that these instances do not accurately define his overall personality.

“Seyi is not a woman beater, woman oppressor, or cultist as some narratives might suggest.

“We urge the public and media to consider the complexity of the show’s environment, the dynamics of human interactions, and the possibility of misinterpretation.

“Seyi Awolowo is a multifaceted individual with a diverse background and experiences, and it is unfair to judge his entire character based on selective moments.

“The show’s portrayal may not always encapsulate the entirety of a person’s identity. We encourage open-mindedness and fairness in interpreting his actions and words,” Slasha Entertainment stated.
