October 1, (THEWILL) – Chizzy and Rachel have been evicted from the seventh edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show in a new twist.
Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, announced their eviction during his surprise visit to the house, where he had dinner with housemates.
Their eviction came shortly after the housemates completed the day’s task. It also comes about two days to the show’s grand finale scheduled for Sunday.
Before their eviction, Ebuka had shown them the highlights of their time in the house. The pair were added to the house as “riders” on August 7.
While unveiling them, Ebuka had said they would act as agents of Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show.
Ebuka added that the duo cannot be disqualified, but are not eligible to win the show’s grand prize.
Their eviction came as a surprise to many fans of the show who expected them to stay till Sunday as earlier announced by Ebuka.
Their eviction leaves Phyna, Bryann, Bella, Daniella, Chichi, and Adekunle to battle for this year’s N100 million grand prize.
This year’s grand prize is the highest since the show debuted in 2006.
The reality show has so far witnessed numerous dramas and unending twists.
