Goretzka turned provider for Muller’s second headed goal in a devastating 13-minute spell. Union pulled one back late on through Yorbe Vertessen but remained just three points above the relegation play-off place.
Bayern’s seventh win in 10 games against Union simply piles up misery on the capital club who suffered consecutive home defeats for the first time since November 2023.
