September 16, (THEWILL) – The Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has resumed his official duties after his two weeks of vacation.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Doubara Atasi, the Deputy Governor thanked God for His mercies and grace upon his life and family for a safe and successful vacation.
Senator Ewhrudjakpo expressed gratitude to Governor Douye Diri for the privilege and permission granted him to proceed on the vacation.
The Deputy Governor equally thanked all his staff, Bayelsans and Nigerians alike for their support, prayers and best wishes while he was away.
He disclosed that the vacation, which also allowed him to undergo his routine medical checks, gave him almost a clean bill of health, except for the few remaining symptoms of the ear infection he had before the November 2023 elections.
The Deputy Governor, however, assured that “he is as fit as the fiddle and ready for work.”
Senator Ewhrudjakpo further felicitates with the Muslim Ummah on the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed and wishes them happy Eid-el-Maulud celebrations.
The Deputy Governor will by the grace of God be in his office on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
