Arewa Obidients Celebrate Peter Obi At 63, Urge Nigerians To Support His 2027 Presidential Bid

July 19, (THEWILL) – The Arewa Indigenous Obidients Forum (AIOF), on Friday, in Kano, celebrated the 63rd birthday of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, with a call to Nigerians to support his presidential bid in 2027.

As part of the celebration, the Arewa (Northern) Obidients who are mostly youths, cut a birthday cake for Obi at a ceremony held at the NUJ Press Centre, Kano, amid chanting of party slogans and solidarity songs.

The ceremony was led by the forum’s Coordinator-General, Engr. Alkasim Auwal.

“The Arewa Indigenous Obidients Forum seizes this opportunity to extend warm felicitations to Peter Obi on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

“As a respected statesman and leader, Peter Obi continues to inspire many with his unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Nigeria.

“The Arewa Indigenous Obidients Forum invites all well-meaning Nigerians to join hands in this noble cause of supporting Peter Obi’s presidential bid and building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria for all citizens.

“Together, we can work towards a brighter future and a more united nation,” the Forum said.

It expressed its determination to work tirelessly towards creating a better future for Nigeria under the leadership of Peter Obi.

The group then emphasised the need for unity, cooperation and collective action among Nigerians in support of Obi’s candidature ahead of 2027.
