Appeal Court Nullifies Election Of House Of Representatives’ Majority Leader, Doguwa

BEVERLY HILLS, November 04, (THEWILL) – The Kaduna Division of the Court of Appeal Monday nullified the election of the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and member representing Tudun- Wada/Doguwa Constituency in Kano State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Honourable Alhassan Doguwa.

Delivering a unanimous judgement on the appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Yusha’u Salisu, the court ruled that the poll was tainted and marred by irregularities and ordered a fresh election within 90 days.

Hon Doguwa is one of the eight principal officers of the House of Representatives.
