July 18, (THEWILL) – African Heritage Inspires Arsenal’s Latest Away Kit Design Arsenal have revealed its new away kit for the 2024/2025 season. The design draws inspiration from the team’s African supporters and was created in partnership with Labrum London, a British African heritage brand.

The kit features a black base with bold African patterns on the sides. Red and green accents appear on the shoulder stripes, Adidas logo, and cannon crest. These elements aim to represent the connection between Arsenal and its African fans.

Foday Dumbuya, who started Labrum London, spoke about the importance of collaboration. He mentioned growing up in London and watching Arsenal players with African heritage, who served as role models for him. Dumbuya expressed pride in working with the club on this design.

Former Arsenal player Nwankwo Kanu also commented on the new kit. The Nigerian football star, who played for Arsenal from 1999 to 2004, praised the design for celebrating the link between the club and players of African descent, as well as supporters in Islington and worldwide.

The launch includes more than just the away kit. Arsenal, Adidas, and Labrum London have also created a clothing line featuring jackets, a t-shirt, a jumper and track pants. This collection extends the African-inspired theme beyond the football pitch.
