June 27, (THEWILL) – Veteran actor, Olusola Olanipekun, aka Pariolodo, has called out Bolaji Amusan, otherwise known as Mr Latin, the president of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, for refusing to assist him.

A few weeks ago, Olanipekun cried out for help after being hit by hard times. Some Nigerians came to his rescue and raised money for him.

Many believe TAMPAN will also come to his rescue because Olanipekun is an actor in the Yoruba movie genre.

However, he was shunned and Mr Latin revealed he can’t do anything about his case because he does not belong to the association.

Reacting to Mr Latin’s utterance, the veteran actor made a video where he expressed his disappointment and frustration towards Mr Latin for neglecting him.

He noted how Mr Latin hasn’t rendered any form of assistance to him despite being in the industry for decades.

He reminded Mr Latin that he had been in the industry long before him, noting that he started his acting journey in 1976, while Mr Latin was still in secondary school.

Urging him not to chase clout with his name, he berated Mr Latin for insisting on not helping him because he is not a member of TAMPAN.

“You were still in secondary school when I started acting. What help have you ever rendered in my life? I am not ready to join your association and I am not expecting any help from you. Was it your association that helped some of my colleagues? Pls, don’t use me to shine”, he stated.
