August 15, (THEWILL) – Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has said that he would not form alliance with the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Adebayo, who spoke at the weekend, at the party’s secretariat in Ogun State, said his party would not merge with APC, before the 2023 general elections because the party have failed Nigerians woefully in all sectors of the country
He accused president Muhammadu Buhari of insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians in the areas of insecurity and economy downturn, insisted that his party would not form any alliance with APC ahead of 2023 elections.
The Presidential Candidate stated that the ruling party needs deliverance and sanitisation because it is a bad luck for Nigerians, adding that APC is a corrupt party that can’t save Nigerians from hardships.
He asked members of the ruling party to join SDP, warning that APC would only provide a worst president than Buhari if Tinubu is voted for by Nigerians in the forthcoming election.
Adebayo, while urging Nigerians to vote for his party and vote out APC and the Peoples Democratic Party in the next election, said that SDP remains that party to beat and is the only party that could deliver Nigerians from hardship.
He said, “Who is Tinubu, he is not here, this is the party of Abiola. I can’t join Tinubu and we can’t merge with APC and if they want to merge with us, I don’t know because they haven’t told us, if they want to merge with us we have to take them for deliverance and sanitisation, because how do you merge with such bad luck, they mismanaged the economy.
“If we are important and they want to merge with us they can join SDP, and queue up because many of them used to be members of SDP before they joined corruption. What we want to do now is not about them because Nigerian people have a choice”, he added.
