2023: Cleric Urges Nigerians To Pray For Peaceful Elections

July 29, (THEWILL) – A renowned cleric and founder of His Divine Redeemed World Ministries, Akwa Ibom State, Apostle Elijah Jack, has urged Nigerians especially women, not to relent on their efforts in praying for Nigeria and a peaceful general elections in 2023.

The cleric, who made the call on Friday, while donating branded wrappers to over 1,000 women in his Community, Ikot Akpatek, in Onna Local Government Area of the state, to mark his birthday, reasoned that such peace could only be achieved together and in the place of prayer.

According to him, he seized the opportunity of his birthday to empower women in his community with uniformed wrapper, noting that uniformity signifies unity and togetherness, which is most needed in the country at the moment.

“God is the reason we are all gathered here. I thank my wife, Mrs Deborah Jack and my lovely children and everyone that has contributed to the success of God’s work in this ministry.

“I am not giving because I have plenty or because I want to show off; I am only trying to give back to my community, I’m doing this because of the love I have for my people, especially my mothers.

“I know that it is always a thing of joy to appear in uniform, it signifies togetherness, unity, love and oneness, I’m glad that you accept the token from me. We must not relent to pray for Nigeria and for a peaceful election in 2023. As women, you know how to pray. This is the time we need the prayer most. Together we will make it, thank you”, he stated.

THEWILL reports that it was all moment of joy and excitement for women in the community, as they received the wrappers and cash gifts from Apostle Jack and offered sincere prayers for increase in his life and family.

The beneficiaries described Jack as an ardent giver, adding that he is ‘a man after God’s heart.’

Mrs Esther Sunday Joseph, one of the beneficiaries from Ekpok Akpoudo, in Ikot Akpatek village, expressed happiness that God has visited the women. She prayed for God’s blessings upon the cleric and his family.

Also speaking, Chief Godwin Edeminang, who is the family head of Ekpok obio, described the celebration as the first of its kind in the community, noting that it has brought unity, love and togetherness to the land.

Making a wish, he prayed that God make the Apostle and his family succeed in all endeavour, so as to extend help to the entire people of our dear state subsequently.

According to the family Head, “the birthday celebration of Apostle has caused the entire people of ikot Akpatek to come together and share love, he is a good man whom God has blessed.

“Since the creation of ikot Akpatek, this is the first time in history that the son of the soil, who serves God diligently has created such awareness. As you can see, a lot of people from different homes are gathered here to celebrate with him.

“This celebration will bring unity, togetherness, love to the community, I urge other Nigerians, especially Akwa Ibom sons and daughters to emulate this gesture and our communities will remain safe.

“I wish him long life and prosperity, also pray that God bless him abundantly, to enable him to help his people, and the people of Akwa Ibom state”, he prayed.
