February 11, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has revealed the reason for staying away from funerals. The actress made this revelation as she prepares for the burial of her step-mother.
The actress revealed that she has never attended a funeral before and she would never attend one. She stated that it was a decision she made when she was a child and she has decided to stick to it.
She added that her mother’s burial might be the first that she would attend. She informed her colleagues that she isn’t forming if they invite her and she doesn’t attend the funeral they invite her to.
Stating further, she said she would be indebted to her friends if she allow them attend her mother’s burial. And she wouldn’t be able to pay back.
She informed those who love her that she needs only prayers from them.
She revealed that she doesn’t appreciate condolence messages as she doesn’t send such.
She further stressed that she doesn’t need money from her well wishers as she wouldn’t be able to reciprocate their gesture because it has to do with funerals.
Recall that the actress lost her step-mother a few weeks ago. Her step-mother took care of her as a child after she lost her biological mother.
The beautiful actress paid glowing tribute to her after her demise, praising her for lavishing her with love and care despite the fact that she was not her biological mother.
