Peseiro Invites Osimhen, Lookman, Onuachu, 20 Others For Portugal Friendly

November 11, (THEWILL) – The 23-man squad for the friendly match against World Cup-bound Portugal in Lisbon next week Thursday, has been announced by head coach, Jose Peseiro.

The invited squad includes captain, William Ekong; goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho; and midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi. Others on the roster were forwards: Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, and Victor Osimhen.

In the midfield space, Joe Ayodele-Aribo and Alex Iwobi, who star in the English Premier League, and defenders, Calvin Bassey and Kevin Akpoguma, also got into the team while wing-back, Tyronne Ebuehi makes his long-awaited comeback.

The tenacious midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo was also included just as defenders: Bruno Onyemaechi, based in Portugal; and Bright Osayi Samuel, based in Turkey, have received their first calls to duty. Genk forward, Paul Onuachu was included as well.
