BEVERLY HILLS, March 20, (THEWILL) – As investigations continue into last month’s single auto-crash of legendary golfer Tiger Woods in Southern California that left him needing emergency surgery, titbits of the details are emerging that paint a picture of how the crash occurred.

It has been revealed now that Woods may never have hit the brake during his devastating rollover crash.

From reports monitored by THEWILL, it has come to the fore from law enforcement sources that there is no evidence, at this point of the investigation, that show that the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Woods was driving slowed down as he veered off the road. It implies that the golfer never took his foot off the accelerator, even as the car went over.

Part of the investigation by the LA County Sheriff’s Department involves the studying of the SUV Woods crashed in, evidence available from the crash site itself and evidence collected from the data stored in the SUV’s black box. Based on sources from the Department, at this point of the findings, they are yet to find proof that Woods tried to stop the vehicle once he lost control and went off-road.

The 45-year-old, who was pulled out through the windscreen of the destroyed luxury SUV following the wreck in Rancho Palos Verdes, has said he does not remember the accident, a claim that will no doubt form part of the investigations being carried out by the Sheriff’s Department.

When approached for official confirmation of the details surrounding Woods making no attempts to slow down as the car veered off the road, the Department preferred not to elaborate, saying: “We are not releasing any further information at this time.”

This week, the former world number one golfer was released from his Los Angeles hospital and went to his South Florida home to continue his recovery.
