September 22, (THEWILL) – The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, Thursday, met with top police officers in Abuja.
The meeting presided over by the IGP, has in attendance, Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs), Assistant Inspector Generals of Police (AIGs), Commissioners of Police from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), among other senior police officers.
Although details of the meeting are not immediately known at the time of the report, the meeting is, however, expected to deliberate on the 2023 general elections, assault on policemen on duty, upcoming police retreat and conference and police games, among other critical issues.
