September 27, (THEWILL) – Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has commiserated with his counterpart in Akwa Ibom, Pastor Umo Eno, over the transition of his beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno.
Governor Adeleke expressed his deep pain on learning about the sad incident, describing the deceased First Lady as a virtuous woman who stood tall in the incredible progress of her husband in the service of God through the church and the people as Governor of Akwa Ibom state.
“I am saddened to learn about the passing of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom state, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno. With a heart full of pain, I extend my condolences to my brother, Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, the Government and the people of Akwa Ibom, on this devastating loss,” Governor Adeleke noted in a condolence message.
“While she was here, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno was a source of succour and hope for many, contributing not just her wealth but also her energy and God given talents to impact lives positively. Her demise, no doubt, will leave a huge vacuum, not only in the heart of her beloved husband and children, but all the lives she was able to touch in one way or the other.”
Governor Adeleke offers his support to Governor Umo Eno in this moment of grief and pains, urging everyone touched by the loss to take solace in the memories of the impacts made by the late First Lady while alive and also honour her legacy of contributions.
“It is my earnest prayer that God Almighty comforts Governor Umo Eno, children left behind and family and that the deceased find an eternal rest with her creator. My condolences.”
