Wolfsberger AC 1 – 0 Feyenoord
SAN FRANCISCO, December 11, (THEWILL) – Wolfsberg’s Dejan Joveljic scored in the 31st minute of their final group tie to send the Austrian side through to the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League for the first time in their history.
Their keeper Alexander Kofler’s man-of-the-match performance ensured the points were not shared and left Feyenoord in third place so that Wolfsberg joined Dinamo into knockout stages.
Dinamo Zagreb 3 – 1 CSKA Moscow
The group was already won, the game was already won, but the one thing Zagreb desperately wanted to achieve proved beyond them.
Kristijan Bistrović slammed in a late goal to beat Dominik Livaković and breach the Dinamo defence for the first time in the six games of the group stage, denying the hosts a place in the history books as the only team to keep six clean sheets in a section.
Josko Gvardiol, Mislav Oršić and Kirim Kastrati were on target for the worthy group winners.
