December 06, (THEWILL) – At the Qatar 2022 World Cup finals, Samuel Eto’o was seen on camera kneeing a cameraman in the head.

The legendary Cameroonian, who was frequent at matches in Qatar, was present once more for Brazil’s match against South Korea in the round of 16. While many people left the game pleased with the Selecao’s spectacular display of attacking intent and 4-1 victory, Eto’o found reason to argue with a cameraman outside the stadium and got into a physical altercation, with the startling occurrence caught on camera.

The victim of Eto’o’s assault was Algerian YouTuber, Said Mamouni, who later published a video stating that he had reported the incident to Qatari police.

Speaking in a video posted to his YouTube channel, Mamouni said: “I’m at the police station to file a complaint against Eto’o, he hit me and someone else with him pushed me and destroyed my camera.

“I asked him how is Bakary Gassama [African World Cup playoff referee], and if he gave him a bribe, he hit me and destroyed both my camera and mic, I know I will take my rights here in Qatar as it is a state of law, he did hit me in the chest and the face and in my elbow.”
