November 29, (THEWILL) – It was a gathering of political bigwigs, dignitaries, traditional rulers and captains of industry on Sunday, November, 29, 2021 when Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, of Abia State staged a lavish ceremony for his son, Jackimike Victor Ikpeazu, and his hearthrob, Thelma Chidinma Onwuenyi.
The event was conducted by Seventh-Day Adventist Church and it took place at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, Abia State. Earlier in August, the delectable couple had their traditional marriage at Umuikaa, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Abia State.
The event was graced by the representative of the President of Nigeria, Dr Uche Ogah, who is the Minister of States for Mines and Steel. The first lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari, who was represented by Mrs Ogonnah Umahi, wife of Ebonyi State government.
Past and present governors, Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom, who was the chairman of the event. Governor Dave Umah of Ebonyi State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Aminu Tambuwa of Sokoto State, Nyesome Wike of Rivers State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Senator Theodore Orji, former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
Singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Favour N’abania thrilled guests to some of his hit songs during the reception.
