Another 48 Recover From COVID-19 In Lagos

SAN FRANCISCO, May 26, (THEWILL) – Another 48 persons have recovered from the deadly COVID-19 after receiving treatment at the designated treatment centers in Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who disclosed the development Thursday, said the persons – 32 males and 16 females –were discharged after they tested negative twice.

“The patients, 28 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, six from Lekki, one from Onikan and 13 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive readings.

“With this new development, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos stands at 406,” the governor said.
